Some of my all-time favourite things, and some I’ve enjoyed as of late, in no particular order.
Probably the most charming, atmospheric 2D game I’ve ever played. Intuitive gameplay, butt-clenching combat, an immersive world, deep lore with open ends, plenty of post-game content… this game’s got it all!

Space Is Only Noise
Nicolas Jaar
With its high-end sound design and unforgivingly melancholic atmosphere, this is probably my favourite (electronic) album of all time. Perfect for long, solitary bus drives.
Favourite track: Keep Me There
A highly atmospheric underwater exploration game which rightfully belongs in the ‘horror survival’ genre, by no small part thanks to the incredibly immersive soundtrack. While the buildup is a bit chunky here and there, it does a good job preparing the player for the sheer terror the mid-to-late game has in store.

Favourite track: Sedans
A roguelike card game with a practically infinite amount of deck synergies. While the game can be completed without any real strategy, the actual (optional) final boss challenges you to retry and rethink your strategies to perfection. Perfect for hardcore players that seek a bigger challenge, yet it doesn’t force more casual players to do the impossible.

One of those albums with a sound that makes you nostalgic for a time you haven’t experienced yourself.
A sentiment (at least for me) against the so-called “millennial curse”, i.e. feeling bad for not being productive/not living up to society’s expectations.
